This week in our Monday morning gathering, we sang our Spring songs and then Gundula read to us the ‘Calendar of the Soul’. After that everybody shared their weekends. In Deepak’s feature of ‘Today in History’, he told us that in 1789 George Washington was inaugurated as the first President of the United States. In 1922, the very first wireless radio transmission was invented. Last but not least, in 1961 Fidel Castro brought Communism to Cuba. Then John, Mary and Paul talked about the stars and Gundula and Jeff talked about last week’s weather.
In our Thursday morning College, John and Marie-Reine taught us about rhythms in Biography. John gave us a definition about rhythms. He told us that a rhythm is when something is repeated over and over again. John spoke to us about the physical cycle, life cycle, astral cycle and self cycle. He also spoke about the seven day cycle, the twenty-four hour cycle and the season cycle. After that Marie-Reine spoke to us about Biography rhythms from the time of birth until seventy and beyond. Age seven until fourteen you are a child, fourteen to twenty one you are a teenager. After Marie-Reine and John’s talk, Monique told us about her trip to South Africa.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we gathered into our eurythmy, painting, reading, writing, clay, cooking and spatial dynamic groups.
