This week, from Monday to Wednesday morning, Ruth T. held her yearly eurythmy week. Every morning we would start with our opening exercises and then Patricia, Deepak, Ruth and Monique read to us the fairy tale ‘Iron Hans.’ We practiced our eurythmy movements and sounds for the play.
On Thursday morning we went to Mahon Park where we played games and had a picnic. After that Deepak read to us the story called ‘Water of Life.’ Then we danced in the park and had a good bye party for Clara.
On Friday morning we went on our yearly trip to Grouse Mountain. During our visit we saw the bear habitat and watched three shows: the Owl Show, the World Famous Lumber Jack show and the Birds of Prey show. Then we visited the gift shop and watched a film about the Grizzly bears.
We had a great day up on Grouse Mountain.
Last week Karin brought her accordion to Oppenheimer Park. It is amazing how music helps to bring everyone together. She found another musician to jam with, to everyone’s delight!
