This is part of the cast of our fairytale, Hansel and Gretel. This week we got a good start on rehearsals before beginning our intensive work with the Waldorf School pupils in September.
We also did many other activities. On Monday, one group prepared a barbecue lunch for everyone while another group worked in the garden.
On Wednesday, everybody did gardening and in the afternoon, we played
games with Sean.
After our eurythmy practice on Thursday morning, Patricia announced that our old friend Dick is coming back to the centre in the fall.
In the afternoon, we all gathered in the main room and had a good bye party for Felix. We sang songs like: ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’, ‘You are my Sunshine’, ‘Mamma Mia’, and ‘I have a Dream’. We enjoyed watching Aiden and Mary dance to ‘I have a Dream’. After that some people spoke about Felix and then we sang our good bye song ‘When the Sun Sets’.
Friday afternoon, we broke into two groups. One group did singing and the other group did gardening.
This week we welcomed two new coworkers from Germany, Melina and Romeo.
