This week in our Monday morning gathering, we sang our Christmas songs. After that Ruth told us what is going to happen in the last week of Cascadia. Ruth announced that our good friend Susan Long, who many know from school, passed away last night. Then we talked about the stars, sports, and our weekends. We sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Mary.
On Monday and Wednesday, we broke into our Paradise play practice, painting, reading, writing, clay, art studio and swimming.
In our last Thursday morning college of this year, we sang the songs from our Paradise play. Then Ruth talked to us about Kaspar Hauser who passed away on today’s date, December 17th. Kaspar House was named after him. After that we spoke about our plays and looked at pictures of all the characters in ‘Paradise’ play, ‘Shepherds’ play’ and ‘The Three Kings play’. Then we had a good bye party for our co-worker, Pauline who is moving to Edmonton, Alberta.
After a short break, we put on our costumes and practiced our Shepherd’s play.
In the afternoon, a group of companions and coworkers went to the Vancouver Waldorf High School to watch their Shepherd’s play.
On Friday afternoon, our family and friends came to Circle Hall to watch our coworkers perform the Paradise Play with great acting, costumes and singing.

Christmas is here again! Merry Christmas to all and see you in the New Year!
