This week in our Monday morning gathering, we practiced our Easter song,
‘The Days of Holy Week.’ Then we talked about the weather, stars, sports and our weekends. After a short break Laura’s aunt and uncle visited us in our basket and garden workshops. In the afternoon, we gathered into Circle Hall for our Monday dance program. We learned the waltz and morris dancing.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, we broke into our eurythmy, painting, reading, writing, clay and singing groups.
In our Thursday morning College, Ruth T. announced that today is our former companion, Charlotte’s birthday. She also announced that yesterday was Rudolf Steiner’s birthday. Then we spoke about what the theme will be for Holy Week. After that Brigitte shared her observations about the duck that she made in the Cascadia training course. She shared with us how a duck walks, sounds, cleans itself and moves on the land. During her lesson a couple of companions demonstrated these kind of movements.
After a short break Lorna’s bell choir practiced their bell playing.
On Friday afternoon, one group went swimming and another group did ‘Spacial Dynamics’ with Graham.

In our Thursday morning College, Ruth O. spoke to us about our thoughts of aging and how life is like a journey from the time you are born until you are old. We spoke about the help we get from our Mom and Dad. They teach us how to be independent which means to have no fear or worries in certain situations. After that, Jim played the Beatle’s song, ‘When I’m 64.’ A couple of companions drew pictures of their grandma and grandpa.
