This week instead of having our Monday morning circle we drove up to C-Dar Farm for our yearly presentation of the Saint John play. Because of the rain, we performed our play in the Gate House. Then we sang Happy Birthday to Martha. During lunch Ferdy played the piano and sang to us.
After lunch we all did ballroom dancing as a celebration.
On Tuesday morning we gathered into Circle Hall for a meeting to discuss our summer program. We will be walking laps and exercising at Mahon Park from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. After a snack break we will break into our new groups: mosaics, clay and gardening. We will also be going on outings to Second Beach, Baseball games and Grouse Mountain.
This week we said Good bye to two volunteer coworkers. Golbiz is returning to Germany to further her studies and Doug will be working at Glenora farm.
