Now is the month of May….and the ribbons come out for our maypole dancing on the mosaic!
This week in our Monday morning gathering, we sang our May songs and then we talked about the weather, stars, sports and our Mother’s Day weekends. In the afternoon we gathered onto the mosaic to do our Maypole dance and to skip around the maypole.
In our Thursday morning College, we sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Sherrene and then Robin explained the GPS (Global Positioning System) to us. After that he demonstrated how to find orientation, not just on the road but also in life. He told us that a temple can be a place to find peace within ourselves and around us. After that we built a temple using eurythmy rods to surround the two chairs and our hands. Everyone had a turn to sit in the temple to experience peace. At the end of College, Robin sang a song called ‘The Mountain.’ The song is about a temple on the mountain.
