This week in our Monday morning gathering, we sang our November songs and then Ruth T. told us that last Friday was a sad day because of the attack in Paris. Also the tree behind Kaspar House was cut down and some of the houses are no longer there. After that we talked about the weather, stars, sports and our weekends.
On Tuesday afternoon, Mike, the North Shore News photographer took pictures of us in our costumes for the play, ‘The Devil and Three Golden Hairs.’
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we broke into our painting, reading, writing, clay, swimming, games and fairy tale practice.
In our Thursday morning college, we welcomed back our former co-worker, Meghan. After that Ruth T. told us about the images of our fairy tale like wine, water, the toads and the stone. We learned that the boy and the king in the fairy tale, in fact all the characters, are parts of each one of us. The young boy is full of confidence and courage while the king is full of fear and control.
