This week in our Monday morning gathering, we sang our Michaelmas songs and then Ruth T. announced that our former coworker Anselm and friend Charlotte sent us greetings. After that we talked about the weather, stars, sports and our weekends.
From Monday until Friday afternoon, we broke into our eurythmy, painting, swimming, clay, art studio, reading and writing, singing and games groups.
In our Thursday morning college, we looked at the picture of the curtain from the old Goetheanum. This time we looked at it from a different angle. Ruth O. told us about the poem of Goethe and the character in it, brother Mark, who could be said to represent the human being on a path to the spirit.
After a short break, Lorna’s bell choir practiced their bell playing for the fairy tale.

In college we have been exploring aspects of the first Goetheanum, which was also called "House of the Word".

In college we have been exploring aspects of the first Goetheanum in Switzerland, which was also called “House of the Word”. It was a beautiful building, worked on by people from all over the world. It burned down in 1922, and was then replaced by a new concrete building which still stands today.
