This week in our Monday morning circle Patricia announced that this year’s theme for carnival would be the country of Russia. After that Jane taught us how to count in Russian. Then everybody told us about his or her weekend.
In the after noon we all gathered in to Circle Hall to start a brand new season of dancing. After that Jane taught us a Russian song called Kalinka and then she taught us the Russian alphabet.
This week in our Thursday morning college John gave us an introduction about glass. To start off John pulled a name out of his clay bowl and read the name of a companion and then the companion came up and rolled the dice and read out a number from the list of kinds of stories that John had written on a piece of paper. After that John told us a fictional, historical, imaginary and a true story about where glass comes from. Then we understood what glass really looks like and how glass is made and when people started to use glass.
After a short break Lorna’s bell choir practiced their bell playing for the spring concert.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we broke into our eurythmy,
clay, painting, reading, writing, novel and walking groups.
On Friday afternoon a small group went to Ambleside beach and looked at the ocean, another group went swimming and the last group stayed at Circle Hall and did singing with Ilay.
