We hope to do some more morris and medieval dancing this year.

This week in our Monday morning gathering, we sang our Three Kings’ songs and then Marie Reine read to us this week’s ‘Calendar of the Soul.’ After that everybody shared their weekend. In Deepak’s feature of ‘Today in History’, he told us that in 1935, Elvis Presley was born in Memphis. After hearing Deepak’s historic events, John talked to us about the stars. Then Gabi, a visitor of Marie-Reines’s family, entertained us with his juggling tricks. In the afternoon our parents came to watch our ‘Three King’s Play’ at Circle Hall.
In our very first Thursday morning College, Patricia announced that for the month of January we will be studying the following four fields of science: Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Physics. Patricia also told us that during the month of February we will be learning about the country of Germany in order to prepare for Carnival. After that we got into four groups. Each group talked about a certain field of Science and then we shared what we had discussed in our conversations, and some experiments. After a short break we gathered back into Circle Hall and did Medieval dancing. Then Ruth T. and John spoke to us about the stars, moon, sun, planets and where they are in relation to the zodiac. We did the zodiac in eurythmy. After that Paul talked to us about Biology. During his lesson, he drew three trees on the blackboard and we tried to recognize and name each tree. Close to the end of the second part of the morning, we read part of the medieval scene in the second mystery drama, written by Rudolph Steiner.
On Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, we got into our eurythmy, clay, reading, writing, swimming and art studio groups. On Friday afternoon Glen, a famous actor came to Circle Hall for a Drama Workshop. During the workshop we read the script and practiced saying the lines of the second mystery drama.
