Marie-Reine, Thomas, Toni and Lukas enjoy a quiet moment before the play
This week in our last Monday morning gathering, we sang our Saint John songs. After that Megan read to us this week’s ‘Calendar of the Soul’ verse and then everybody shared their weekend. Gundula talked about last week’s weather and John, Susan, and William spoke about the stars. In the afternoon of Monday and Tuesday, we practiced our Saint John’s play.
On Thursday morning, all the companions and co-workers drove to C-Dar farm to celebrate Saint John the Baptist Day. When we arrived at the farm, we had a small snack and then we put on our costumes and walked to the meadow which was surrounded by trees. After each person did their gestures and said their lines, we sang ‘Ringing is the Bell of Time and ‘Truly I shall send my Angel’. Then we had a picnic in the meadow.
We saw three cows, chickens, a cat and the plants. We had a great sunny day at C-dar Farm.
