This week in our Tuesday morning gathering, we sang our May songs and ‘Happy Birthday’ to Aileen. After that Gundula read to us this week’s ‘Calendar of the Soul’ verse and then Gundula and Raymond looked back at last week’s weather and John spoke about the stars.
In our Thursday morning College, Monique and Fanny spoke to us about imagination in fairy tales. Then we broke into four different groups wearing different costumes. Once dressed we talked together about what we know about these fairy tale characters. After that we gathered back into Circle Hall to discuss our thoughts about what the character’s symbolism and gestures meant to them.
On Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, some people played soccer and we went for a walk. On Friday afternoon, we did singing with Ashling.
Stephen thought about the characteristics of the horse character and later gave us a very good demonstration complete with sound effects.
