This week in our first Monday morning gathering we sang our Michaelmas songs. Then Monique told us who will be working in which workshop. Also some of the companions told us about their weekends.
After a short break we had a Fashion T-Shirt Summer party. Jim played some music on his guitar and everybody showed off the T-shirt that they had painted during the summer program (please see some samples below!). John showed everyone the dishes that the clay group made. After that we danced the Chicken Dance and to Mamma Mia songs. Then we ate the snacks that Deepak and crew made and lastly we sang our Cascadia song.
On Thursday morning, a group of coworkers and companions went on our yearly trip to Grouse Mountain. There we saw the Owl show, Lumber Jack show and the Bird show. We also saw the beautiful garden containing mountain plants and vegetables. We had a great surprise: two former coworkers, Nicolai and Jade, came along for the fun.
Friday afternoon, eight Waldorf Grade eight students came to Circle Hall to practice our fairy tale with us.
